Update October

Little bit of October

So since my last update a lot has happened. I turned a year older! Last year being a teenager. Scary thought indeed. I went on a beautiful hike to a place called Starved Rock with a group of friends. The fall colours are absolutely beautiful to look at this time of year. Being away from the town, busy life and be one with nature for the day was peaceful. I also applied and got accepted into a local collage whilst i spend my year here in the states. I have also managed and somehow devoted some of...actually most of my time to NETFLIX. sad but true. I also went for my first mani and pedi. LOVED it and went to The Cheesecake Factory for the first time! Lets just say it is not my lost time. I also went to my firs Haunted House. Never been so terrified in my entire life. Fear City Chicago, props to you!

Halloween!

So its been a month and about 3 weeks since i last left Sunny South Africa to come to Chicago! I have enjoyed every minute of my time being here. American Life is so different in comparison to South African Life. One of the differences being Halloween!I am so excited to be having the opportunity to celebrate Halloween in the states. It feels like i am in a movie. The decor, the costumes, the parties and THE CANDY! Went to my first Halloween party, i must admit it felt as if i was in some type of wack horror movie but needles to say , the spider punch, music, dress up and pumpkin themed party was insane! 

I am so excited to be going trick or treating, yes, probably more excited than the kids!
